After almost three years of living in our new home, I decided it was time to create a small play area for our two older children in the basement. For quite some time now, I would just take anything that needed to be “stored” and neatly tucked it away in the basement. Unbeknownst to me, I had created an organized chaos. After purchasing storage racks and bins, I was able to organize and arrange all of our items in such a way that it not only created more space for our children to play, but it also created more storage room for me to utilize in the future to purchase more Christmas decor (sshhh, don’t tell my husband). All in all, I learned that even the most organized home can have some clutter, and that’s ok because we are only human.
