How does your process work?

My process will begin with the initial phone call. The client will give me a brief description of what their needs are as well as provide me with an end goal they have in mind. We will discuss a possible timeline and setup the initial meeting. I will then go to the client’s business/home and finalize the plan and what needs to be done (i.e. purchasing storage units, organizational tools, etc.) along with a timeline and cost. We’ll then execute our plan step-by-step. If storage items or any other tools need to be purchased, we’ll make sure we get those items in hand. If the client wants to have the area cleaned before it’s reorganized, that will get done. We’ll organize items into piles including keep, toss, and maybe. Items to be tossed will either be donated or thrown out. We can help arrange for that as part of our hourly fee or the client can take care of discarding the items. The items to be kept are placed back into the space, newly organized.

How do I make sure items I don't want thrown out aren't accidentally tossed?

Often times people are scared to have someone touch their things because they are worried that some of their meaningful items may become tossed or misplaced. That is not the case with Organized Bee. I will not toss or remove anything from your home/business without consent from the client. After things have been sorted, the client will have the opportunity to say whether or not they wish to donate or toss in the trash.

On top of your fee, will I need to purchase other items like shelves, storage containers, etc and how will I know what to buy?

During your initial consultation, we’ll draw up a plan that includes recommendations for items that should be purchased. My fee only covers the time I spend in your home/business organizing your space. If you should need organizational tools and items, these can be purchased at your discretion.

Your services offer to purchase items for a fee. How does that work?

If you would like me to purchase recommended items for you, then our hourly fee will be assessed for shopping along with the hard cost of the items purchased. Receipts will be provided to you.

How will I find things that you've put away? How will I understand your organizational system so I can quickly find what I need?

My main goal is to make your life easy. With that said, as I organize your space, I will help you understand the system that I am putting in place for you. Organization does not have a “cookie-cutter” solution. Every home/business is unique to its owner and I will help you figure out a solution that works best for you. We’ll follow Common Sense Organizing which means that the plan will include a reason for why everything is where it is so you understand how to find any item you need quickly and efficiently.

How does your pricing work for taking items to donation centers?

As we organize your space, you may come across items that you may no longer need or want. No need to worry, I am here to help. My service not only include organization, but I can also drop off your items to your donation center of your choice. My fee for this would be my normal hourly rate of $75 per hour

Do you provide cleaning services?

We only provide organization services, but we can recommend a reputable cleaning company to you. Just ask us!
